Holy Cow! Its been a month?
Dang, time keeps on slipping in to the future! (Hope someone at least gets this reference!)
Anyway, about the game:
Game started getting funky with me with the HTF (Hunger-Thirst-Fatigue) system, and besides spending too much time on a single thing (because then we all know you get frustrated and unmotivated and possibly waste time!) I have began working on the Character Creation and Map (Technical side, not graphics) of Castle Rahkuin with the descriptions (copy-pasted in!)!
The Map is really easy and pretty much done (just got to make sure moving around 1000+ times won't make it glitch out!) but the Character Creation process is being a pain in the butt!
It's going to be a menu similar to Aika's TrapQuest, but its going to have the option to go back to the core menu and allow you to go back to the main menu to choose whatever order of character creation your heart desires. This is the thing, apart from the HTF system, that will be both the most important and hardest settings to program for the 'Release' of the game. Pretty much has soon as I get these into a non-buggy state, I'll probably release the game shortly after.
Why am I doing the HTF system right off the bat, before there really is a need to do it? 2 reasons:
1) I feel that if this is me presenting the game and all of its 'features', it should have all of the core mechanics in place to start to know if you guys like it or not.
2) This IS the tutorial area I'm making in this release, and the most proper time to teach you all about HTF.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to actually roleplay in the first person, through your character's eyes, while you're encountering anything from combat, relationships, and transformations with no restraints in an 18+ setting? Welcome to Alteratio and Multiplayer Transformation Fight!

I am so speechless! I'm glad that my game matters that much to some people to either continually refresh the page, view it to see no updates, or I actually have a following!
Thank you all! <3
Normally people have a reward for such a thing.. I don't have any thoughts rights now, but I'll think of something!!
P.S. If you don't know already, at the bottom of each post on the main page, there is a 'Read More ' button to finish the article. On my end, its showing up as people NOT viewing the article at all (about 15 on average for all posts). Don't know if its blogger acting weird or not, but just to make sure that everyone is getting the full update, it's located here:
The post will look like this:
Blah Blah Game Stuff.....
Blah Blah Blah Coming Soon.....
Blah Blah Blah Blah Play The Game......

Weekly Update #3
Well, I'm 3 hours late, so what! I totally have a good reason for it:
I was trying to finish making my Hunger, Thirst, Fatigue (HTF) System become reality with colored bars in Inform! Still working on it as we speak, but I got most of it done! Here's a list of everything I've done in the past week:
I was trying to finish making my Hunger, Thirst, Fatigue (HTF) System become reality with colored bars in Inform! Still working on it as we speak, but I got most of it done! Here's a list of everything I've done in the past week:
- I used ShadowChaser's Basic Characters as a basis, since I'm uber new to writing in inform (or anything for that matter other than C++), made some modifications, and deleted everything else I don't need.
- I've wrote down some notes for later (as in, when I get a Random Dungeon) on how to possibly make a 'Willingness To Escape' (WITE will be the WIP Acronym for now) stat that will never be seen, but will pop up in messages such as
"As you experience more of the wonders here, you conclude they you don't need to leave right this instance." - Still deciding how I want the UI to display, and where to display it. My ideas so far:
The Map (Similar to Aika's Trap Quest) will display in the upper right.
The HTF will display at the top horizontally.
Your statistical information will show on the left such as AMP, Race, and (Custom?) Class.
Current description of your appearance will appear on the Right, under the Map - Make the Map! See a small copy of it below (Not big so you don't know how to get through the Maze :P )

Weekly Update #2
Wow, 2 weeks already? How time flies by!
On that note, here's what I've discovered so far in my venture to make this game happen!
On that note, here's what I've discovered so far in my venture to make this game happen!
- For making my own Custom Game Engine, I did a lot more research into what programs I could script and write this in, and have it narrowed down to two:
Adobe Flash Player OR Java
Yes, I know I said I wouldn't touch Java, but what I had meant to intend to say what that I don't want it to be a .jar file. I always have problems with those, and from what I can gather, a lot of others have problems as well. Either it works wonderfully or doesn't work at all. I dug a bit deeper and found out that you can, through some awesome programs, convert the .jar file into a Windows Executable file, or for those less technically inclined, a window similar to when you open a folder on your computer. It automatically will do all the background java stuff for you, and tell you if you need the latest java, and give you a link to go download it! - Well, considering that I haven't had anyone talk either here or on the Forum Where It All Began, I'm thinking that I'm losing a crowd because I'm either doing 'more talking than walking', I haven't got anything tangible to hand to people yet, or people just aren't interested in this game at all, for whatever reason.
In an attempt to gather some more followers (to start my own cult of course!) I'll be making the first versions of the game using Inform 7, the other engine that I was considering using in place of my own. I'll still be making my own system, but with something tangible to put in people's hands, I hope I can hook them in and get some more support to make this awesome game!

Weekly Update #1
Well, considering that I hadn't really done anything to make a noteworthy update in the past few days, I spent all of my time today writing up stuff so I can actually POST about something! Otherwise, I would have posted much earlier in the day.
Yet another Guide (4 Now!) to introduce you into the world. I'll give her a description below, which also raises a few questions (And will hopefully provoke comments!)
Also, the voting system I put into place seems to be working so far. 11 votes on the forum to determine which system I'll be using (I'm expecting it to raise up here shortly after we recover from the holidays!) and the two polls on here are doing fairly well, considering the time they've been up and how often I get viewers (which might be the same 3 people, or more than that! No way of telling!)

Prep-Status of the Game! Voting Season!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Thanks for the 300 Page views so far! I feel so special to do something that has garnered that many views in a matter of 2 weeks and 1 post! Quite an amazing feat, I think! Now, its time to make this place booming more!
So, some of my new year resolutions involved Alteratio, and I wish to share those with you to make this place more livelier and to ensure you all that I am working on this!
- I will be weekly posting a status of my Trials & Tribulations or What am I working on Right Now or Where The HELL Have I Been every single Monday!
Yes, Monday, the beginning of the week. So, after you enjoyable weekend which I have been gruesomely working on Alteratio, you'll wake up to see that a game you enjoy is still progressing!
Good way to start off a slow Monday, I think!
